United Arab Emirates is a Middle Eastern federation of seven states situated in the southeast of the Arabian Peninsula on the Persian Gulf. The UAE, rich in oil and natural gas, has become highly prosperous, especially the Emirate of Dubai. Dubai is the most populous and second largest emirate; it has become a world-famous place through innovative real estate projects, sports events, world-renowned conferences and Guinness records, focus on education, and its emergence as a world business hub and regional playground for the rich and famous. London, Summer 2010

Complete BIS 401 Applied Study and BIS 402 Senior Seminar in London! Group excursions include a two-day trip to Wales with visits to World Heritage sites in Bath and Blaenavon and an overnight in a 13th century Norman Castle. We’ll also take an extended day trip to Brighton, a bustling coastal city, and see two plays in London. London is a cosmopolitan city that boasts some of the finest parks, museums, libraries, theaters, and historic buildings. London can be defined as a microcosm of the world’s cultures—home to European, African, Asian, and other immigrants. Traditional and international music, food, and sites, flavor London’s culture—the city provides for a rich multicultural environment. London’s climate in the summer is generally very pleasant with unpredictable moments. Daily high termperatures are around 70 and lows around 60 with more sun than you might expect. Description
