The B.A. in Literature, Writing and Film at Arizona State University offers students the opportunity to develop their skills in professional, academic and imaginative writing, as well as their interpretation of literary and non-literary texts and critical thinking. The program focuses on effective writing, critical thinking, and sophisticated reading of literary and non-literary texts. The program stresses cultural and information literacy. It encourages the study of texts in their cultural context, and stresses the role of media and technology in the reading process.
