The Communication program on the ASU Downtown Phoenix campus prepares students for social engagement and advocacy across complex and interrelated communities. Graduates of the program will be prepared to serve as active members of their local, professional and global communities. In addition to a strong core in communication, argumentation and critical thinking, our majors can take advantage of the resources offered by our distinguished colleagues in the College of Public Programs, Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication, College of Teacher Education and Leadership, and the College of Nursing and Health Innovation. The location of the campus, in center of the state’s largest city and capital, provides students with unique cultural, professional and social interactions and opportunities as they engage in problem-centered learning and research opportunities with faculty, their peers and community members.
