Bachelor of Liberal Studies

The Bachelor of Liberal Studies (BLS) is a transdisciplinary program, offering students the opportunity to take classes across various disciplines and view the world from multiple perspectives—an ideal degree for students with a wide range of interests.

Eligibility requirements:

First-time Freshmen
High School graduate or equivalent with one of the following conditions:

  • 3.0 GPA in competency courses (2.5 - 2.99 considered)
  • Top 25% (top 26-50% considered)
  • ACT 22 (24 nonresidents)
  • SAT Reasoning 1040 (1110 nonresidents)

Transfer Students with fewer than 24 hours:

  • 3.0 GPA in competency courses (2.5 - 2.99 considered) AND one of the following:
  • Top 25% (top 26-50% considered)
  • ACT 22 (24 nonresidents)
  • SAT Reasoning 1040 (1110 nonresidents)
  • 2.0 resident, 2.5 nonresidents (2.0 - 2.49 considered)

Transfer Students (24 or more hours):

  • 2.0 resident, 2.5 nonresidents (2.0 - 2.49 considered)

Readmission Students:

  • 2.0 ASU GPA
